#Karamoja disarmament

UPDF 3rd Infantry Division Commander Brig. Gen. Michael Walaka Hyeroba has urged junior officers undergoing the Platoon Commanders Course to lead from the front as they prepare for pacification and disarmament missions across Karamoja.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni joined the people of Karamoja for the Karamoja Cultural Festival in Moroto, commending the region for embracing development and thanking local women for their pivotal role in helping security forces recover over 41,000 illegal firearms during past disarmament campaigns.
